The Opportunity

We’re working with a fast-growing independent digital consultancy that helps major brands unlock growth through better customer marketing, data and technology. They are looking for a Senior Consultant – Customer Lifecycle & Growth to work with a portfolio of well-known clients, helping them improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention and lifetime value. This isn't a BAU campaign management role. You'll act as both a strategic advisor and delivery lead, helping clients solve complex customer marketing challenges and then delivering the projects that bring those strategies to life. You’ll need to be equally comfortable discussing customer strategy with senior marketing stakeholders, designing customer journeys, reviewing MarTech or helping clients understand how their customer data should be structured and activated.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing CRM and customer contact strategies to improve engagement, retention and commercial performance
  • Designing end-to-end lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, push, in-app and onsite channels
  • Developing retention, engagement and lifecycle roadmaps
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, personalisation, automation and operational efficiency
  • Advising clients on CRM and marketing technology, including ESPs, CDPs, CRO and personalisation platforms
  • Helping clients understand what customer data they need, where it should sit and how it should be activated
  • Supporting CRM/MarTech platform selection, migration and implementation projects
  • Developing customer segmentation and personalisation strategies
  • Analysing customer behaviour, campaign performance and lifecycle metrics to identify growth opportunities
  • Leading discovery and strategy workshops with senior client stakeholders
  • Managing projects from initial discovery through to delivery
  • Supporting and mentoring junior consultants
  • Helping shape and grow the consultancy's CRM and customer lifecycle capability

What We’re Looking For

You’ll probably have around 5–10 years' experience within CRM, lifecycle marketing, customer strategy, MarTech or digital consulting. You may currently work within:

  • Digital or CRM consultancy
  • Customer strategy consultancy
  • Digital transformation
  • CRM/customer experience agency
  • An in-house CRM or lifecycle function with significant strategic responsibility

You don't need to tick every box, but experience across several of the following would be particularly relevant:

  • CRM and customer lifecycle strategy
  • Customer journey design and optimisation
  • Retention, engagement and customer lifetime value
  • Customer segmentation and personalisation
  • Marketing automation and MarTech
  • Customer Data Platforms and data activation
  • CRM/MarTech migrations and implementations
  • Marketing analytics and performance measurement
  • Client consulting and senior stakeholder management
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Managing multiple client projects/workstreams

Experience with platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Bloomreach, HubSpot, Klaviyo or similar would be advantageous.

The Person

You’ll enjoy solving complex customer and commercial problems rather than simply managing BAU campaigns. You’ll be able to combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and translate customer, data and technology challenges into clear recommendations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work across CRM, lifecycle, customer strategy, data and MarTech, while helping shape a growing consulting capability.

What’s on Offer

  • Permanent opportunity with a fast-growing independent consultancy
  • Central London office with flexible hybrid working
  • Work-from-abroad policy
  • Performance-related bonus
  • Subsidised gym membership
  • Regular team events
  • Strong progression opportunities
  • Opportunity to work with major UK and international brands
