We’re working with a global insights agency that partners with leading brands across multiple sectors. They’re looking to hire a Consumer Insight Analyst to support a key client within the automotive space. You’ll sit within a dedicated team aligned to this client, delivering insight that directly informs brand, product and consumer strategy.
The Role
This role focuses on analysing large volumes of consumer-generated content from a wide range of sources — including forums, online communities, and social platforms — to uncover trends, themes, and actionable insights. You’ll work with text analytics and LLM-based tools to categorise and interpret data, while applying a high level of scrutiny to ensure outputs are accurate and meaningful. Alongside this, you’ll support ongoing brand and category analysis, contributing to regular reporting delivered to the end client.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest and analyse consumer data from multiple digital sources (forums, groups, social platforms)
- Apply text analytics and LLM-based tools to categorise and interpret content
- Validate, sense-check and refine outputs to ensure high-quality insight
- Conduct issue analysis and identify emerging themes and trends
- Deliver monthly brand analysis, including social listening and brand mention tracking
- Support semi-automated reporting processes into visualisation platforms
- Work closely with internal data scientists and insights specialists to deliver client-ready outputs
About You
- Experience in consumer insights, social listening, or text analytics
- Methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical thinking
- Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar
- Comfortable working with large, unstructured datasets
- Strong attention to detail with the confidence to challenge outputs
- Interest in AI/LLMs and their application within insights

You’ll join a small, specialist team (circa 3 people) within the agency, dedicated to a global automotive client. The team combines consumer insight and data science, offering strong exposure to both technical and commercial work.
