The Opportunity
My client is looking to hire a Design Director who will be responsible for ensuring that all products and experiences are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards. You will communicate our client’s creative vision to design teams and stakeholders and supervise the entire design process and technical decisions throughout. The opportunity will suit either a Design Director or a current Senior Graphic Designer who is looking to progress into a role that challenges and develops them.
The Job
- Managing, developing, and inspiring the design team.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with various external agencies.
- Conducting meetings with department heads and senior team leaders to discuss their needs and plan projects/campaigns.
- Interpreting business concepts and briefs and transforming them into creative ideas.
- Developing strategic design plans with projected timelines and budgets.
- Creating storyboards and mock-ups for the senior team and the design team to visualise the completed project.
- Overseeing creative projects, from start to finish, and monitoring the team to ensure they adhere to the budget and timeline constraints.
- Reviewing feedback from department heads and senior team and making alterations according to their needs.
- Analysing market research to create more effective designs.
