BENCH JOINER
Bodhi Bespoke is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our new bespoke joinery workshop in Monton, Greater Manchester. You will manufacture high-quality bespoke furniture and joinery for commercial interiors, retail, pharmacy and shopfitting projects.
The successful candidate will:
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinets, counters, reception desks and furniture.
- Work from technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Work with MDF, MFC, laminates, plywood, veneers and solid timber.
- Fit ironmongery, including hinges, drawer runners, locks and handles.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards.
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager and machining team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven bench joinery or furniture manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to dimensions.
- Experience with cabinetry, assembly and furniture finishing.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety.
Experience in commercial joinery, retail furniture or shopfitting would be advantageous. A recognised joinery qualification would also be beneficial
