The Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction for services and integrations within the customer domain, ensuring third‑party platforms and internal systems work seamlessly together to support the customer journey. You will translate business needs into robust technical solutions, champion engineering standards, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across integrations, front‑end initiatives, and platform performance. You will work hands‑on alongside engineers, architects, and product teams to provide technical leadership, manage the impact of change, and ensure our solutions are secure, resilient, and aligned to our overall technology strategy.
Location: 2 days per week at our North Acton office, with the remaining days WFH.

What You Will Do
- Act as the technical authority for third‑party services and integrations within the customer domain.
- Define, document, and oversee integrations between third‑party platforms and internal services.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions aligned to architecture and platform strategy.
- Provide technical leadership across front‑end initiatives and integration work.
- Ensure integrations meet engineering standards for security, resilience, testability, and performance.
- Assess and manage the impact of third‑party changes, identifying and mitigating technical risks early.
- Partner with third‑party vendors to ensure services are observable and well‑supported.
- Promote best practices, support cross‑team alignment, and contribute to the technical community.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to support business roadmap shaping, feasibility and analysis.
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience working with practical experience working with commerce, customer, and marketing platforms.
- Strong software development knowledge, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Proven experience integrating third‑party services and platforms.
- End‑to‑end SDLC experience with solid architectural design knowledge.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, including webhooks and OAuth.
- Knowledge planning and running performance testing across systems.
- A track record of leading and delivering complex digital or commerce initiatives involving multiple systems and partners.
