Overview

At Boden, our Project Managers play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact initiatives across the business. Working closely with the Programme Manager, you’ll lead projects prioritised within the Boden Portfolio, partnering with internal teams and trusted third parties to ensure delivery is effective, well-governed, and clearly communicated at every stage. This role sits within the Commercial domain of our Technology team, supporting projects for our Creative and Product functions, including Merchandising, Design, Buying and Garment Tech. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and development teams to bring complex initiatives to life. While not essential, experience delivering technical projects within a retail or product-led environment would be a strong advantage.

Location: 2-3 days per week in our North Acton office, with the rest working from home.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead projects end-to-end, from initiation and definition through to delivery and closure.
  • Develop and maintain robust project plans, clearly detailing tasks, dependencies, resources and timelines.
  • Own stakeholder communication, ensuring regular, clear and effective updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Bring teams together to resolve issues quickly and pragmatically, keeping delivery on track.
  • Coordinate delivery streams, managing internal and external dependencies and ensuring outputs are aligned.
  • Ensure appropriate governance and documentation is in place (e.g. project charters, business cases).
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, issues, resourcing and budgets.
  • Provide clarity on roles, responsibilities and expectations across project teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong background in delivering technology-enabled projects within an e-commerce, digital or IT environment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading projects of varying scale and complexity, using different delivery approaches.
  • Confidence managing third-party suppliers and partners.
  • A solid understanding of web development processes and technologies.
  • Experience working within skilled, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • The ability to engage, influence and manage expectations at senior stakeholder level.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and reporting skills.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge when needed.
  • A delivery-focused leader who motivates teams and maintains momentum.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability; experience with Jira, Confluence and/or Monday.com is desirable.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary & targeted annual bonus scheme.
  • Generous Boden clothing allowance!
  • 30% discount on all current clothing ranges.
  • 25 days Holiday annually, plus Bank Holidays.
  • Online Portal with an array of discounts on retail & entertainment.
  • Virtual GP Service for you and your household!
  • Free onsite parking and subsidised café.
