Overview
This role will help support the Merchandising function to plan and deliver ‘best of Boden’ ranges in our Partnerships, including leading weekly allocation, driving trade, identifying trends and helping mentor junior members within the team.
Location: 3-4 days per week at our North Acton office, 1-2 days WFH.
What You Will Do
- Collate and analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Plan an optimum range that will deliver the Partner financials.
- Generate size ratios based on regular analysis.
- Review and monitor intake.
- Lead weekly allocation and warehouse meetings.
- Support the monthly WSSI process, ensuring OTB sheet is up to date.
- Share buy requirements by size to the Direct team.
- Manage stocks through considered initial allocations and reactive replenishment levels.
- Releasing reserved stock in a timely manner.
- Action markdown proposals and communicate promotions with Partners.
- Create and review Monday Trade packs and present in trade meetings.
- Drive trade by identifying risks and opportunities.
- Regular trade reviews with Partners.
- Liaise with Visual Merchandising on launch availability and communicating late lines.
What We Are Looking For
- Passionate about a career in merchandising and developing within Retail and Wholesale.
- Experience at either Senior MAA or current AM level.
- Coach and mentor direct line reports and provide support to more junior members of the team.
- Lead by example and be a positive role model for the team.
- Experience in proactively managing workload, prioritising, and delegating.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Highly analytical with attention to detail.
- Experience of being part of a team and working in a busy environment.
- Experience of working cross functionally.
- Clear communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
