Overview
The Product Owner (Finance) reports to the Head of Product for our Operational teams. You will act as the bridge between our Finance teams and IT, collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across our Finance team and wider organisation to identify their needs, translating them into actionable requirements. Your strategic oversight will create a robust finance systems roadmap, ensuring seamless system changes across the department. This is a 12-month FTC.
Location: 3 days per week based at our North Acton Office.
What You Will Do

Be the primary point of contact for the technology needs of the Finance team.

Work closely with the finance teams to gain an in-depth understanding of their business processes, guiding them through changes to systems.

Own the product roadmap for Finance that gives stakeholders across the business clarity on what will be delivered and when.

Identify and implement improvements to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the user experience.

Coordinate with internal and external technical teams to develop, test, and deploy new features.

Managing small change initiatives and supporting product deployments.

Provide training, troubleshoot issues, and support end users to drive adoption and usage best practices.
What We Are Looking For

Experience with finance systems and software (preferably SunFinance), an understanding of financial processes and regulations.

Experience in scoping and documenting finance system requirements

A background in systems implementation or finance transformation projects.

Experience using Jira/Confluence (or other project management tools).

Knowledge of SQL and eCommerce platforms.

An understanding of Sales Tax calculation and reporting processes.

Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
