Are you an experienced Asset Manager who can hit the ground running? A leading organisation within the Defence Services sector is seeking a Senior Asset Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract due to increased workload. This is a highly mobile role, so candidates must be centrally based and genuinely comfortable travelling extensively across the UK.
The Role
- Lead and work alongside two Asset Surveyors.
- Manage asset activity across a large national portfolio.
- Travel to sites from Cornwall to Newcastle depending on business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective asset management.
- Maintain high standards of compliance and asset information.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Provide experienced leadership and support to ensure the increased workload is delivered effectively.
You
- Strong, proven asset management experience and the ability to make an immediate impact.
- Experience managing or leading Asset Surveyors or similar teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the UK.
- A central UK base that enables effective travel across the portfolio.
Please note: UK-wide travel is a fundamental requirement of this position. While you won't be continuously working away from home, you must be willing and able to travel wherever the portfolio requires.
