This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a technically diverse estate, maintaining essential HVAC systems that support critical operations.
The Role As The HVAC Engineer, You'll
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault diagnosis across a range of HVAC systems.
- Complete statutory inspections and compliance activities to ensure systems remain safe and operational.
- Undertake minor installations and refurbishment works, interpreting technical drawings where required.
- Maintain accurate digital maintenance records using tablet-based systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, COSHH and RIDDOR requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, site stakeholders and colleagues to deliver high-quality engineering services.
- Required
Participate in a 1-in-11 on-call rota, responding to emergency call-outs and supporting a range of multi-skilled maintenance issues when required.
You To be successful in the role of HVAC Engineer, you'll bring
- City & Guilds Air Conditioning qualification (or equivalent).
- F-Gas Category 1 certification.
- Safe Handling of Refrigerants qualification.
- Proven experience maintaining, repairing and fault-finding on commercial HVAC systems.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The Ability To Obtain Security Clearance (SC). Desirable
- Previous experience within secure or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of JSP 375.
- Health & Safety or First Aid qualifications.
