Boden Group deliver facilities maintenance services and project works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East. We’re looking for a Resource Planner to take on a vital role in our FM Commercial department based from Tiverton.

Main Duties of this role:
- Schedule all PPM, reactive and project works, optimising workforce availability to meet client SLAs efficiently.
- Work with Small Works Managers and clients to maintain and deliver a smoothed PPM plan across contracts, ensuring labour is aligned to cost and delivery targets.
- Identify labour shortfalls and work with relevant teams to manage delivery risks, providing supporting data to adjust cost plans and models as needed.
- Monitor and mitigate risks to delivery schedules, including labour gaps and supply chain issues.
- Maximise use of in-house labour to reduce external contractor dependency.
- Support Small Works Managers with client liaison, acting as a point of contact to ensure high service standards.
- Help identify procurement improvements that enhance task delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Review performance against contract objectives and produce client reports to support contract requirements.
- Review and amend purchase orders and invoices, and lead on streamlining processes to enable timely, value-for-money invoice processing.
- Manage systems to ensure accurate KPI reporting, supporting both operational delivery and financial forecasting.
- Drive improvements in resource planning tools, systems and processes to boost delivery efficiency.
- Provide support to the FM Commercial team during absences or peak workloads to maintain performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High level of computer literacy, including management systems and Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to multitask effectively, monitoring and controlling multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Awareness and understanding of legislation relevant to building management and facilities maintenance operations.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of contract Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within fixed-price facilities management contracts.
- Previous experience working within a Ministry of Defence (MoD) environment.
- Business Administration Qualification.
