Covering the wider South Region, this role offers a unique blend of variety, responsibility, and the chance to work on exciting projects within a dedicated team.
The Role
- PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding effectively to reactive repairs.
- Specialist Tasks: Conducting water temperature checks (full training provided), flat roof inspections, and maintaining doors and locks.
- General Trades: Handling general repairs, carpentry work, and decorating tasks to maintain high facility standards.
- Collaboration: Working alongside other trades to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Compliance: Strictly adhering to health and safety regulations in every task undertaken.
- Call-Outs: Managing call-out tasks as part of a structured rota covering the South Region.
You
- Experience: Proven experience in hands-on maintenance roles, ideally with a Joinery qualification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in general building fabric repairs, including carpentry, locks, and basic decorating.
- Mindset: A proactive, solution-oriented approach to troubleshooting and repairs.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
- Safety: A solid understanding of health and safety protocols within a maintenance environment.
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £33,000 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Working Week: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
- Location: Ayrshire and surrounding (Covering the South Region)
- Call-Out Rota: 1 in 6 schedule.
- Call-Out Bonus: £125 per week standby allowance, plus additional pay for all call-outs attended.
- Equipment: Company van, tools, and fuel card provided.
