Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable role with excellent progression? We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to support a brand-new facility in Plymouth. This is a largely electrical role within a modern, sustainable building featuring air source heat pumps and solar panels. You’ll join a supportive Facilities Management team with clear progression towards LV/AP and HVAP qualifications.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the facility.
- Complete PPMs, fault finding, inspections and day-to-day maintenance tasks.
- Maintain electrical systems within an all-electric, sustainable building.
- Support the supervision and development of junior engineers.
- Work with specialist fire and intruder alarm contractors when required.
- Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
About You
- A recognised electrical maintenance qualification.
- NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance or Facilities Management.
- Strong fault-finding and communication skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to develop technically.
- 18th Edition qualification is preferred but not essential.
What’s in it for You?

- £100 weekly standby payment when on call
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
