Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer looking to join a leading Facilities Management provider delivering maintenance services across a prestigious site in Oxfordshire? We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team, responsible for maintaining critical building services and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across the site.

The Role

As Electrical Engineer, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities while supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of electrical building services systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contractual requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical distribution systems, lighting, power, and associated building services equipment.
  • Supporting maintenance activities on HVAC and mechanical plant where required.
  • Conducting fire alarm testing and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Accurately recording maintenance activities through the CAFM system.
  • Participating in the on-call rota and responding to emergency call-outs when required.

About You

To be successful in this Electrical Engineer role, you'll have:

  • Recognised Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • Experience working within commercial buildings, facilities management, or building services environments.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical systems.
  • A proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

  • 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
  • Experience working within critical or high-profile environments.
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems and compliance reporting.
