We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Operative with a Joinery bias to carry out repairs, maintenance and minor refurbishment works across residential properties in Leeds.
The Role
You will be responsible for completing a wide range of responsive and planned maintenance tasks, often working independently and aiming to resolve issues on the first visit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out repair, maintenance and refurbishment works across domestic properties
- Delivering multi-skilled works across various trades where competent, with a joinery focus
- Attending appointments on time and completing works within agreed target times
- Diagnosing remedial works, arranging materials and organising follow-on visits where required
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness and minimising disruption within customers’ homes
- Ensuring safe use and upkeep of tools, equipment and company vehicles
- Participating in the out-of-hours emergency repair rota when required
Essential requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Joinery, Carpentry or a relevant trade
- Level 2 Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair & Refurbishment (or equivalent experience)
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience in repairs, maintenance and building construction
- Full, valid UK driving licence
