The Role
As a Mobile AC Engineer, you will be the technical lead for temperature control systems across a variety of critical sites. You will focus on high-standard maintenance and rapid fault rectification to ensure zero downtime for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Maintenance: Fault-finding and repair of VRVs, Split units, Fan Coils, and small water chillers.
- Compliance: Maintain and update F-Gas logbooks, ensuring accurate records of refrigerant use and leak testing.
- Installations: Carry out pressure testing, vacuum dehydration, and commissioning of AC systems.
- System Diagnostics: Diagnose defects, prepare quotations for remedial works, and liaise with contract managers.
- Reporting: Utilize CAFM systems via PDA for real-time job updates and documentation.

We are looking for a "steady" and reliable engineer with significant post-apprenticeship experience who thrives in an autonomous, mobile environment.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and C&G F-Gas Category 1 (Essential).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience, with strong knowledge of VRVs and Splits.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics; experience with Fan Coils and Chillers is highly desirable.
- Compliance Knowledge: L8 Awareness (Legionella) and a solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Licensing: Full UK Driving Licence.
