Lead strategic procurement across a national Facilities Management business. Are you an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in services procurement within the Facilities Management sector? A leading Facilities Management organisation is looking for a Senior Partner Manager to shape procurement strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships and drive commercial performance across a national portfolio. This is a home-based role with travel to sites as required, offering the opportunity to influence strategic procurement decisions while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The Role
- Lead procurement strategy across a broad range of FM service categories, ensuring best value, quality and long-term supplier performance.
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Lead commercial negotiations for service contracts, delivering cost savings without compromising operational performance.
- Work closely with operational, commercial and finance teams to align procurement activity with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, governance frameworks and regular performance reviews.
- Analyse market trends, supplier capability and commercial risks to inform procurement strategy.
- Support contract mobilisation, renewals and tender activity across multiple Facilities Management services.
- Ensure procurement activity remains compliant with internal governance, contractual obligations and industry best practice.
- Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs and enhance service delivery across the organisation.
About You
- Significant experience in procurement of services within the Facilities Management industry.
- A strong commercial background with proven success negotiating complex service contracts.
- Experience managing strategic supplier relationships and driving supplier performance.
- Excellent understanding of procurement governance, contract management and commercial risk.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
Please note: This role is focused exclusively on services procurement. Candidates whose procurement experience is primarily within goods, products or manufacturing will not be considered.
