Overview
A leading workplace and facilities management company is looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join its expanding team, maintaining high-quality office environments across London Zones 1 and 2.
This is a mobile role where no two days are the same, providing the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of client sites carrying out reactive maintenance, repairs and fit‑out support.
The Role
- Carry out first‑line maintenance, diagnosing faults and completing repairs or arranging specialist contractors where required.
- Deliver a wide range of reactive maintenance including plumbing, minor electrical works, decorating, carpentry and general fabric repairs.
- Complete site inspections and identify larger repair requirements.
- Support office fit‑outs and tenant move‑ins, including mounting TVs, installing whiteboards and completing finishing works.
- Oversee contractor works to ensure they are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Travel between sites across London using public transport, managing your workload through a mobile job management system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or Construction.
- A Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry.
- Experience carrying out general building maintenance and fault finding.
- A good understanding of electrical, plumbing and general building systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A professional, customer‑focused approach with confidence working in occupied buildings.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team.

- Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with some flexibility where required. Permanent and temp‑to‑perm applications will both be considered.
