We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join the team of an established company in London. This role is offering a 6 month fixed term contract and the opportunity to lead a successful engineering team across a large estate.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a multi-skilled Hard FM team, including Supervisors and Engineers
- Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems to ensure compliance and service delivery targets are met
- Ensuring statutory compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work procedures
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Monitoring service performance, producing reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Coordinating labour, resources, and materials to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance activities
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and internal teams across the university estate
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification or above in a recognised engineering discipline
- A recognised trade background in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a TFM or IFM environment
- Strong knowledge of hard services and associated regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
