HVAC Project Manager

Our client is a well-established mechanical design & build contractor, delivering Mechanical HVAC projects across a range of commercial and industrial environments. Due to continued project wins, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to join their growing projects team.\\n\\n You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of Mechanical HVAC projects, typically ranging from £50k to £5m+, overseeing design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning and final handover.\\n\\n Key responsibilities:\\n \\nManaging Mechanical HVAC projects from pre-construction through to completion \\nDeveloping system specifications, construction drawings and technical documentation \\nManaging technical submissions and RFI coordination with Project Managers \\nProcurement of plant, materials, suppliers and subcontractors \\nCoordinating site activities and managing subcontractors \\nFull commercial responsibility, including cost control, variations, valuations and final accounts \\nMonitoring labour, materials, forecasts and project P&L \\nOverseeing commissioning, handover and preparation of O&M manuals About you:\\n \\nStrong background in Mechanical HVAC design & build projects \\nProven experience managing projects within commercial and/or industrial buildings \\nSolid understanding of HVAC principles and installation practices \\nComfortable managing projects both technically and commercially \\nExperience or working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is beneficial \\nConfident communicator, able to work independently and as part of a wider team What’s on offer:\\n \\nSalary between £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience \\nCompany car, phone, laptop, pension and bonus scheme \\nLong-term role within a stable and growing contractor \\nExposure to technically challenging and rewarding projects \\nSupportive, collaborative working environment This role is in Nottingham, with candidates required to live within a reasonable daily commuting distance
