Boden Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services organisation for a Health, Safety & Environment Manager to join their dynamic Operations team. Based in or commutable distance to either Birmingham or Manchester (potentially London) , this newly created position offers real scope to shape safety strategy across a UK-wide office estate — with full flexibility and travel support built in.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead HSE strategy across a multi-site professional office portfolio, including occasional international oversight
- Act as the competent person for Health & Safety and Fire Safety across the estate
- Deliver risk assessments, maintain accurate compliance records, and manage supplier relationships
- Chair the Health & Safety Committee and drive robust training, engagement, and physical security protocols
- Travel to UK offices
- Support wider operational safety initiatives while monitoring and evolving HSE performance
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH General (ideally with Fire), IOSH Chartered, and hands-on multi-site office experience
- Professional Services background (legal, financial, consultancy, etc.) is preferred
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, creative problem-solving, and knowledge of ISO45001
- Self-sufficient and proactive — well suited for candidates who thrive in independent roles
