Health, Safety & Security Lead.

Location:
UK (with occasional international travel) – can be based in either Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester – other locations may also be considered.

As
Health, Safety & Security Lead
, you\’ll be the driving force behind workplace safety and compliance across 15+ UK sites and international offices. Reporting to the Head of Property & Workplace, you\’ll design and deliver robust processes, champion a positive H&S culture, and ensure the organisation stays ahead of legislation, risk, and compliance standards.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Leading health, safety, and security strategy across a multi‑site portfolio
• Developing policies, training programmes, and emergency response plans
• Managing audits, inspections, and risk registers to keep standards high
• Overseeing ISO compliance (27001, 22301, and CDM regulations
• Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver best practice
• Driving initiatives in event security, travel safety, fleet management, and property risk
• Acting as the go‑to expert for executives on safety, resilience, and crisis management

What We\’re Looking For

• NEBOSH / IOSH Level 6 (or equivalent) qualifications
• Strong track record in corporate health & safety leadership
• Deep knowledge of UK H&S legislation and global security standards
• Experience managing safety/security operations in complex office environments
• Confident communicator able to influence at executive level
• Skilled in risk assessments, audits, and compliance reporting
• Familiarity with technical security systems and infrastructure design is a bonus
