The Role As the Engineering Supervisor, you will
- Supervise and coordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities across the site.
- Lead a team of engineers and apprentices, providing technical guidance, training and performance support.
- Ensure the effective operation of HVAC and other critical building systems.
- Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, improve reliability and minimise downtime.
- Allocate workloads and ensure resources are utilised efficiently.
- Oversee specialist contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring works meet agreed service levels.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards and permit-to-work procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records, certifications and compliance documentation.
- Support asset lifecycle planning, maintenance budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Produce maintenance reports and KPIs while working closely with site management to deliver a high standard of service. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience as an Engineering Supervisor or within a technical maintenance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical building services.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing contractor performance.
- Good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial facilities environment.
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, statutory compliance and permit-to-work systems.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
