Are you an experienced Handyperson or Fabric Engineer looking for an immediate-start opportunity? A leading Facilities Management organisation is seeking a multi-skilled individual to support general building maintenance within a secure, operational environment, with potential for the role to become permanent.
The Role As the Handyperson / Fabric Engineer, you ll:
- Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance.
- Complete general repairs and handyperson tasks across the site.
- Undertake basic joinery and building maintenance where required.
- Support a variety of maintenance tasks outside of your core trade.
- Work alongside electrical, mechanical and other FM trades.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance.
You To be successful, you ll bring:
- Previous handyperson, fabric maintenance or general building maintenance experience.
- A broad, multi-skilled approach rather than specialising solely in one trade.
- Joinery experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
- Experience working within commercial or FM environments.
- Flexibility to support different maintenance requirements across the site.
- A current DBS would be advantageous.
Due to the secure nature of the environment, candidates will need to complete the required background and security checks, including providing a five-year employment history.
