Job Description

The Role\\n We're recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at Roehampton Hospital, supporting a large and technically complex healthcare environment.\\n\\n This is a hands-on role working across critical electrical systems where reliability and safety are essential. You'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs to ensure the hospital remains fully operational 24/7.\\n Key Responsibilities\\n \\nPlanned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance \\nFault finding on complex LV electrical systems \\nWorking on UPS/IPS systems and critical infrastructure \\nSafe isolations and compliance with site safety procedures \\nSupporting statutory testing and documentation \\nParticipating in the on-call rota Requirements\\n Essential:\\n \\nTime served apprenticeship \\nNVQ Level 2 minimum (Electrical) \\nCity & Guilds or equivalent \\nExperience in commercial/critical environments (hospital, healthcare, large estates, etc.) \\nStable work history \\nFull UK driving licence & own vehicle \\nDBS (existing or willing to obtain) Desirable:\\n \\nExperience in healthcare or critical facilities \\nStrong attitude and willingness to learn \\nEx-forces background welcomed Package & Benefits\\n \\n£39,000 basic salary \\n£500 annual payment \\nCall-out rota: 1 in 6 weeks \\n£100 standby \\nMinimum 4 hours per call-out \\nAfter midnight = double time \\nSaturday = time & half \\nSunday = double time \\nTemp-to-perm opportunity \\nStable, long-term contract
