A leading company in the FM industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage two iconic retail sites in Manchester. This permanent, full-time role offers the perfect balance of variety and stability, working within a prestigious 5-year contract.
The Role
- Manage Dual-Site Operations: Work a flexible schedule, typically spending 3 days at one site and 1–2 days at the other, ensuring operational excellence across both.
- Technical Maintenance: Maintain extensive electrical systems, including lighting and complex BMS systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Respond to electrical failures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all work meets building codes and health and safety standards.
- Contractor Management: Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with the FM management team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Working Hours: Stable daytime shifts from 08:00 – 16:30.
You
- Essential Qualifications: You must hold an NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition. A valid Gold Card (JIB) and ECS Card are required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and fault-finding within a commercial or retail environment.
- BMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Building Management Systems is highly advantageous.
- Proactive Mindset: Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across two distinct sites.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt your weekly schedule between sites.
