We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join the team of a well-established company based in the Coventry area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within a busy and fast-paced environment on a temporary basis, with the potential for ongoing work.
Role Details
- Location: Coventry
- Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
- Type: Temporary role (4+ weeks)
- Working Pattern: Site based
- Pay Rate: £25 per hour – paid weekly via umbrella
As an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include:
- Carrying out planned rewiring on the site and installations
- Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Conducting inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Working alongside internal teams and contractors to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Previous experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and organisational skills
