I am recruiting exclusively for a Commercial Manager to cover the Midlands and the South of England, working for a leading contractor in the Public sector. The role of Commercial Manager will be a remote role, with occasional travel to sites across the Midlands and South of England. The role will be leading a team covering 4 contracts in the Health and Education sectors, with PFI Hard and Soft services the focus of the role.
Our client is seeking a PFI contract experienced individual to join their hugely successful team as they continue to grow, with the current projects valued at up to £40 million. This is a huge opportunity to join a fantastic organisation offering progression alongside the continued growth of the account.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours based on Monday – Friday.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining commercial control to enable timely and accurate submissions of payment applications.
- Producing accurate commercial reports and cost data.
- Monitoring and reviewing Supply Chain performance.
- Pricing works and maximising revenue opportunities.
- Managing supplier payments in line with contractual and company policy.
- Working closely with procurement to engage and appoint specialist supply chain partners.
- Attending meetings, providing reports and liaising with all stakeholders on commercial matters.
- Assisting Commercial & Risk Manager in preparing dispute avoidance strategy and any dispute resolution.
- Ensuring Security and Fraud prevention systems and processes are adhered to at all times.
- Ensuring good general knowledge of contract processes and procedures are always adhered to, advising and supporting as required.
- Identifying business priorities and effectively planning and implementing.
- Maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders.
