We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an established FM company working on a static contract in Westminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for some Christmas work.
Pay: £24-26ph CIS
Location: Westminster (Static)
Contract: Temporary over the Christmas period
Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical building services
- Reactive maintenance and repair works
- Fault finding and diagnostic work across a range of mechanical systems
- General mechanical duties within a commercial environment
- Involvement with AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves, pipework, plant room equipment, and similar mechanical FM assets
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven mechanical engineering experience within commercial FM
- Knowledge of HVAC-related mechanical systems (AHUs/FCUs experience beneficial but not essential)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Good communication and reliability
- Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
