An opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a high-profile site in Canary Wharf. Working within a technically complex commercial environment, you will play a key role in maintaining and operating HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe, compliant and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintain and repair building services plant including air handling units, pumps, motors, distribution boards, fire safety and water treatment systems
- Ensure all works are completed in line with contractual SLAs and statutory compliance requirements
- Complete and review risk assessments, method statements and permits to work prior to task commencement
- Accurately update tasks and documentation using CAFM systems (Planon experience desirable)
- Liaise with subcontractors and specialist contractors, monitoring performance and quality of works
- Provide technical support and assist in preparing quotations for additional or chargeable works
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Time-served Electrical Engineer with relevant qualifications
- City & Guilds BS 7671 (18th Edition) essential
- HVAP qualification desirable
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC plant
- Experience with water treatment and ACOP L8 compliance
- IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
- Proficient in CAFM systems and mobile task management tools
