The Role

As an Associate Fire Engineer, you will lead and support the delivery of a broad range of fire engineering and fire safety services while acting as a trusted advisor to clients, project teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver fire engineering assessments and fire safety strategies
  • Support Building Safety Regulator Gateway submissions
  • Undertake FRAEWs and external wall assessments
  • Carry out compartmentation surveys and compliance reviews

  • Support remediation and construction projects from a fire safety perspective
  • Conduct fire risk assessments, audits and due diligence reviews
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, design teams and regulatory bodies

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Chartered Engineer, Incorporated Engineer or equivalent professional status
  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance
  • Experience delivering fire engineering solutions across complex buildings
  • Understanding of Building Safety Act, PAS 9980, Building Regulations and fire safety standards
  • Excellent stakeholder management and technical reporting skills
