Head of Building Management
Boden Group have partnered with a fascinating venue in London to help source a Head of Building Management to lead the day-to-day facilities management operations at a prominent Centre. As the deputy to the Venue Operations Director, you\’ll oversee hard and soft services, utilities, security, and health & safety. You\’ll also manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. The role requires strong hard services understanding and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead FM operations, compliance, and health & safety
- Manage and develop direct reports
- Oversee capital refurbishment projects and small works
- Liaise with service partners to ensure high standards
- Lead procurement, sustainability planning, and emergency/business continuity plans
- Manage energy usage and supplier relations
Requirements:
- Technical qualification in engineering, electrical, or related hard services desirable
- Recent FM leadership experience in a corporate, hospitality, events, or public sector setting
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Project Management and CDM experience
- Recognized UK Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH)
Desirable:
- Public sector contract and procurement experience
- Budget and finance skills
- Security contract experience
- CAFM and BMS experience
