We are recruiting a Compliance & Governance Lead Accountant to strengthen financial controls and governance across the regional operations of a leading national facilities management provider. This is an opportunity to influence policy, improve processes and work closely with senior finance stakeholders.
The role:
- Lead finance compliance and governance across regional operations.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, controls and governance documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting.
- Monitor compliance and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Identify control gaps and lead the delivery of remediation plans.
- Promote consistent financial processes across multiple regional offices.
- Support continuous improvement across the wider finance function.
You:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification, with relevant practical experience.
- Proven experience in financial compliance, governance, risk or internal controls.
- Strong Excel skills and experience producing financial reports.
- The ability to identify risks and turn findings into practical improvements.
- Excellent communication and senior stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience within facilities management or a multi-site finance function would be advantageous.
