The Role
- Provide technical assurance, governance, and compliance oversight across electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Conduct technical audits, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to improve operational performance.
- Assess, mentor, and support Authorised Persons and Competent Persons through the competency management framework.
- Review and develop Safe Systems of Work, engineering procedures, and technical policies.
- Produce technical guidance, compliance reports, and engineering communications to support continuous improvement.
You
- Current Electrical Authorising Engineer status with strong operational engineering experience.
- Extensive knowledge of HV/LV systems, electrical safety, and engineering compliance.
- Experience auditing engineering operations and implementing technical governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of risk management, statutory compliance, and safe systems of work.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams at all levels.
