An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to support operations across two healthcare sites within the Yorkshire region. Although described as a mobile role, travel is limited to these two locations, providing a stable and consistent working environment with a varied workload.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC and cooling systems within a live healthcare environment. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent fault-finding skills, and a professional approach when dealing with site staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Diagnose and repair AC and refrigeration faults
  • Service and maintain:
    • Comfort cooling systems
    • Fridges
    • Cold rooms
  • Complete minor installation works
  • Update CAFM/PDA systems accurately and in real time
  • Participate in a 1 in 8 on call rota and occasional out-of-hours work

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration
  • Valid F-Gas certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the AC industry
  • Full clean UK driving licence
