We are recruiting for an experienced Interim Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance within a busy hotel and leisure environment. This is a hands-on role covering planned and reactive maintenance, compliance and the day-to-day management of the maintenance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant, equipment and facilities.
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns, including out-of-hours support when required.
- Leading and coordinating the maintenance team and external contractors.
- Ensuring Health & Safety, Fire Safety and statutory compliance requirements are met.
- Managing water hygiene, Legionella and statutory checks.
- Maintaining accurate, audit-ready maintenance and compliance records.
- Working with BMS and HVAC systems and ensuring plant operates effectively.
- Supporting maintenance projects and departmental works.
About You
- Previous maintenance experience within hotel, hospitality, leisure or a similar facilities environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience managing PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance, Health & Safety and Fire Safety.
- Experience with water hygiene and Legionella management.
- Working knowledge of BMS and HVAC systems.
- Pool plant experience would be desirable.
- IOSH qualification would be desirable.
- Immediate availability or the ability to start at short notice.
