We are recruiting for an experienced Interim Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance within a busy hotel and leisure environment. This is a hands-on role covering planned and reactive maintenance, compliance and the day-to-day management of the maintenance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant, equipment and facilities.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns, including out-of-hours support when required.
  • Leading and coordinating the maintenance team and external contractors.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety, Fire Safety and statutory compliance requirements are met.
  • Managing water hygiene, Legionella and statutory checks.
  • Maintaining accurate, audit-ready maintenance and compliance records.
  • Working with BMS and HVAC systems and ensuring plant operates effectively.
  • Supporting maintenance projects and departmental works.

About You

  • Previous maintenance experience within hotel, hospitality, leisure or a similar facilities environment.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience managing PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, Health & Safety and Fire Safety.
  • Experience with water hygiene and Legionella management.
  • Working knowledge of BMS and HVAC systems.
  • Pool plant experience would be desirable.
  • IOSH qualification would be desirable.
  • Immediate availability or the ability to start at short notice.
