Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and results-driven Account Manager to join our London-based Trade & Contract team. This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional with a strong ability to manage a high volume of quotations while also building long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of trade clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new opportunities through existing client base, showroom meetings, and industry networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade clients.
- Generate and manage quotations with proactive follow-up to secure conversions.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account reporting to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, product developments, and competitor activity.
- Support clients with tailored customisation options of products.
- Collaborate with internal sales support teams to offer interior design, logistical, and installation solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management or sales, within the furniture, interiors, or A&D industry.
- Strong business acumen with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, confident in client engagement by phone, in person, and virtually.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
- Highly proficient in CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce, Pipe drive preferred) systems and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of design software is an advantage.
