Overview

As part of the delivery team you will be the last point of contact with the customer and so you will need to have excellent communication skills, be of high presentation and act professionally at all times when representing our prestigious brand. We are looking for people who can demonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding customer satisfaction, have a positive \’can do\’ attitude and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our customers achieve a level of service from their delivery that is consistent with the high standards of service we achieve when they order. In this role you will work both independently and in a multiple person team to deliver a first class home or business delivery service. We expect our customers to receive a positive customer experience each and every time. You will always strive to exceed the customer expectations building on an already established and respected relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and where possible exceed customer expectations in the delivery and installation of their furniture.
  • Construct furniture items on-site or in customer’s homes as per our customer contract guidelines, removing waste packaging and returning it to the for appropriate waste disposal.
  • Ensure first class customer service is experienced at all times.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each journey.
  • Report any discrepancies to the General Manager as soon as they are identified.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication skills targeted at handling customers face to face and over the phone.
  • Exceptional time management, working to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in assembling flat pack furniture.
  • Capability of working well under pressure.
  • Proven ability to exhibit great attention to detail.
  • A great team player.

Due to the nature of the work heavy lifting is required. This includes safely carrying and assembling furniture. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is capable to carry out this nature of work.
