Responsibilities
- Run the base metals derivatives and energy trading book.
- Execute clients' orders, including energy or commodities derivatives related to ICE or LME.
- Interact directly with clients, internal stakeholders as well as the Sales/Trading team and other back-office departments as appropriate to facilitate trade processing, clearing and settlement to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the trading limit and exposure all the time and report the trading PnL in a timely manner.
- Developing trading strategies and building new products.
- Provide client support services and maintain good relationship with clients.
- Help assess clients' risk exposure, monitor positions and margins, ensure prompt margin payments.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree holder or above in Business Management, Mathematics or related disciplines preferred.
- At least 5 years of extensive experience in energy and base metals derivatives trading.
- Competent regulatory and compliance knowledge for commodities.
- Numerical sensitive, strong language and communication skills.
- Able to work on different work hours with good time management skills.
- Excellent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) written and spoken.
