The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.
Run the base metals derivatives and energy trading book.
Execute clients' orders, including energy or commodities derivatives related to ICE or LME.
Interact directly with clients, internal stakeholders as well as the Sales/Trading team and other back-office departments as appropriate to facilitate trade processing, clearing and settlement to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor the trading limit and exposure all the time and report the trading PnL in a timely manner.
Develop trading strategies and build new products.
Provide client support services and maintain good relationships with clients.
Help assess clients' risk exposure, monitor positions and margins, and ensure prompt margin payments.
Other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor Degree holder or above in Business Management, Mathematics or related disciplines preferred.
- At least 5 years of extensive experience in energy and base metals derivatives trading.
- Competent regulatory and compliance knowledge for commodities.
- Numerically sensitive, strong language and communication skills.
- Able to work on different work hours with good time management skills.
- Excellent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) written and spoken.
