The predicted salary is between 80000 - 100000 £ per year.
The Role
- Run the base metals derivatives and energy trading book;
- Execute clients' orders, including energy or commodities derivatives related to ICE or LME;
- Interact directly with clients, internal stakeholders as well as the Sales/Trading team and other back-office departments as appropriate to facilitate trade processing, clearing and settlement etc. to ensure smooth operations;
- Monitor the trading limit and exposure all the time and report the trading PnL in a timely manner;
- Developing trading strategies and building new products;
- Provide client support services and maintain good relationship with clients;
- Help assess clients' risk exposure, monitor positions and margins ensure prompt margin payments;
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor Degree holder or above in Business Management, Mathematics or related disciplines preferred;
- At least 5 years of extensive experience in energy and base metals derivatives trading;
- Competent regulatory and compliance knowledge for commodities;
- Numerical sensitive, strong language and communication skills;
- Able to work on different work hours with good time management skills;
- Excellent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) written and spoken.
