To support our continued growth, Boccard is looking for experienced Pipe Welders to work at our new fully digital manufacturing plant in Deeside. This role will be responsible for performing welds at each stage of the manufacture of stainless-steel pipe spools ready for installation at Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station.
We are looking for qualified, coded Welders highly competent in TIG welding, with experience working in a highly regulated industry. Applicants should be computer literate, possess good communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a diverse team. They should be organized, able to prioritize workload, and eager to work in a fast-paced, growing business.
Our Welders are part of a busy, friendly team comprising welders, fabricators, and operators, all performing work to the highest quality standards. All work is quality inspected to exacting standards. It is important that applicants have a quality mindset with high personal standards, regarding both the quality of their work and throughput.
Working in a newly set-up, fully digital manufacturing facility, the environment is clean and efficient, with a strong focus on safe working practices.
Hours of work are 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on Friday. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. As part of our employment screening, all applicants will need to complete BPSS screening and hold a safety passport (e.g., CITB / CSCS). All new welders will be coded at the start of employment.
