Are you highly organised, detail‑focused, and passionate about quality within a manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy working closely with project, production, and quality teams to ensure documentation meets the highest standards? We’re looking for a Quality Control Assistant to join our Quality team in Deeside, supporting the Quality Control Manager and playing a key role in the preparation, control, and delivery of project quality documentation.

The role is varied and hands‑on where you’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating quality records throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project requirements, company procedures, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Generate, assemble, and complete QC packs and final turnover data books (hard copy and electronic)
  • Coordinate with project and manufacturing teams to compile quality documentation including QC packs, LTQRs, inspection reports, certificates, and as‑built records
  • Manage calibration of equipment and maintain accurate calibration trackers
  • Prepare, review, and monitor inspection and acceptance documentation
  • Ensure quality records are collated and filed in line with project and Quality Management System requirements
  • Support internal and external audits by demonstrating robust document control processes
  • Assist with setting up and monitoring manufacturing KPIs
  • Promote and comply with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, including nuclear safety principles
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and a positive HSEQ culture
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in document management, ideally within manufacturing or a project‑based environment
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Exposure to quality documentation, audits, or calibration processes
  • Experience working in a regulated or industrial setting
