We’re on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Sale.
If you have more than 2 years of experience, and have a hunger to grow in finance, or you are an experienced professional ready to share your expertise and collaborate, this is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong numerical skills and a solid academic foundation (GCSE Maths – top grades preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.
- A detail-centered mindset and excellent organisational abilities.
- A curious, ambitious attitude with a desire to learn and progress.
- Experience with different accounting systems, such as Sage 50 Accounts
- Great communication and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices and credit notes (key task)
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining financial trackers and supporting accruals.
- Assisting with expenses, customer accounts, and supplier payments.
- Supporting the Finance Manager and stepping in when needed.
