Electrical Supervisor – Devon

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing electrical work and validating electrical installations performed by BOCCARD\’s electrical subcontractors. Initially the role will be offered initially on a 12 month fixed term basis. The role is full time based at our clients food production site in Devon.

Scope:

Carry out project/s in accordance with our client\’s requirements while respecting safety, specifications, internal procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the installation, testing and documentation of electrical installation of electrical projects on our clients’ food production site
  • Supervise and guide a small team of electrical subcontractors ensuring safety and high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure deadlines and project requirements are met.
  • Assist in project planning, coordinating material deliveries, and updating progress reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date site records, certifications, and documentation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous, demonstrable supervisory experience, with an electrical qualification, preferably in food production or similar environments.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical installations, systems, testing, and wiring regulations (BS7671).
  • Familiar with and adheres to HSE electrical safety codes
  • Trained on CSCS, SSSTS, or equivalent is preferred
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communicator with leadership and organisation skills.
