As we continue our journey of growth and expansion to serve the new era of nuclear energy, Boccard, as a leading specialist in engineering, manufacturing, construction and maintenance in the nuclear energy industry, are looking for Fabricators to join us here at Boccard.

Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, our Fabricators are based at our fully digital manufacturing site at Broughton, near Chester and will be responsible for the fabrication of piping supports to be used in the nuclear industry currently for the Hinckley Point power station project. Working from isometric drawings, our Fabricators will tack weld box sections and plate. The role will perform welds at each stage of manufacturing and construction and will weld carbon steel supports to exacting standards ready for installation at Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station.

  • Responsible for the fit up and tack welding of pipe supports, including prefabrication to the highest standards set by the nuclear industry.
  • Working to a high level of standards within the Nuclear sector.
  • Report all anomalies, safety hazards and specific problems to the Team Leader before proceeding further.
