Key responsibilities To support our continued growth, Boccard are looking for a qualified QC Site Lead to work on site at HPC. The Quality Control Site Lead is responsible for managing and delivering Quality Control inspection and documentation of manufactured goods. They must ensure processes are improved and are involved in decision making on quality topics in manufacturing. They have overall responsibility for the Manufacturing Quality Control Team, ensuring they comply with requirements, focus on improvements & safety. They ensure the team is trained and SQEP are in-place for each role. They lead the manufacturing team in delivering LTQRs within the set time frame ensuring Right First-Time.They work closely with the Project team to establish any support on technical, quality, safety, improvement topics. To have full autonomy of planning the daily / weekly / monthly department targets in-line with the project demands. Qualifications and Experience · Ideally degree qualified in Engineering, manufacturing, business or related discipline · Advanced knowledge of modern welding procedures · Extensive work experience in a manufacturing or construction environment implementing quality programs · Track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Continuous Improvement · Knowledgeable of ISO 9001, ISO 19443 Standards, · Knowledgeable of RCCM and any related requirements Knowledgeable of Nuclear New Build Requirements · Excellent communication skills with a good eye for detail · Compute literate and willing to train on internal digital platforms · Previous Nuclear experience preferred Compensation and Remuneration · A highly competitive salary · Pension scheme · 25 days annual leave · On-going investment in your training and development · Life Assurance x4 salary · Employee Assistance Programme TPBN1_UKTJ
