We are looking for experiencedNDT Quality Control Welding Inspectorsto work at our fullydigital manufacturing plant in Deeside.The successful applicant(s) will join an experienced team of quality engineers and QC inspectors, working closely with technical and production departments in the manufacture of nuclear fabrications.

We offer acompetitive hourly rate of £27.07, and withovertime (higher rate)opportunities, your earnings can increase significantly. For example, working just two hours of overtime from Monday to Thursday could boost your weekly pay by around 30%and thats without factoring in additional weekend overtime options. This means you can enjoy a competitive salary while staying local, close to home, without the need to travel abroad or relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and report quality issues and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations and internal QA/QC procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • CSWIP 3.1 certification with experience as a welding inspector.
  • Certification in PCN Level 2 MPI and PCN Level 2 DPI.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern welding procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ideally, previous experience as a time-served welder/fabricator or pipefitter. xiskglj
