To support our continued growth, Boccard are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to work at our Deeside location. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the role will lead and develop the logistics team to ensure safe, efficient, and quality management of materials, components, and products across manufacturing operations.
Responsible for goods in/out, stock control, kitting, tooling, packaging, and raw material preparation, supporting engineering and fabrication. Maintain high standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance while optimising workflow through Boctrack ERP, driving operational performance and continuous improvement. The candidate must be a strong motivational leader with a focus on high standards of H&S and Quality within time sensitive safety critical work environments. Forward thinking and a problem solver, dynamic in their approach to their work, and the ability to work flexible hours when needed to meet production demands.

Key responsibilities- Recruit, train, supervise, and develop the logistics team.
- Ensure materials and products are ordered, received, stored, kitted, and dispatched accurately and safely.
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods, verifying quality and quantity; resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain safe, organised, and traceable inventory.
- Lead Boctrack ERP workflow planning, tracking, reporting, and team training.
- Prepare and kit materials/components for fabrication; ensure completeness and readiness.
- Conduct visual inspections to confirm quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and promote a positive safety culture.
- Safely operate machinery, tools, lifting equipment, and company vehicles.
- Minimise material and consumable waste; optimise resources.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Report hazards, defects, non-conformances, or operational issues to management.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality teams, and suppliers.
- Undertake other reasonable duties within the logistics function as required.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, engineering, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of stock control, goods in/out, and materials handling.
- Effective communication, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong IT competency, including Microsoft Office and Boctrack ERP digital system.
- Positive, can-do attitude and great team-working skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including visual inspection of materials and components.
