Quality Control Technician
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will undertake goods-in inspection, ensuring component specification forms are in place and updated
- Undertake verification and validation of components as part of change control and goods in updates
- Maintain goods-in specification documents, updating as necessary in line with change control requirements
- Ensuring additional quality inspection requirements are documented
- You will perform Final QC test and inspection of medical devices, to ensure products conform to release specifications and also perform quality reviews of production checklists to ensure product is suitable for release
- Maintain device history records and configuration logs for traceability and identification purposes
- Also, you will be supporting the Non-conformance system, ensuring rejected products are processed accordingly
Qualifications
- Post holder will have achieved one of the following: Qualifications such as HND or degree in a technical / engineering / science discipline, apprenticeship based in a technical, engineering or science industry, or equivalent experience such as three (3) or more yearsβ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate an understanding technical information, practical technical ability an advantage
- Experience of working in a regulated industry, medical devices or similar, in a quality or technical role is desirable
- You have the ability to prioritize workload, and plan tasks and time to meet schedules and project timeframes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
